Display Boards

You may have noticed that the Library Team have been revamping the Library Displays.

Outside the Library are 3 display boards, and we have dedicated one to new non-fiction stock, one to new fiction stock and one to library information, inspiration and quotes.  Have a look at let us know what you think!

Inside the Library, there is a new poster by the computers, which gives helpful information on how to go about researching, planning and preparing a project. Have a look, you may find it useful.

Here's an example of some of the quotes we have added:-

  • "Today you are you, that is truer than true, there is no one alive, who is youer than you!" -Dr. Suess
  • You want weapons? We're in a library! Books! The best weapons in the world!" -Dr. Who
  • When I got my library card, that's when my life began." -Rita Mae Brown

Book Review: Splitting the Atom

Book: Splitting the Atom
Author: Alan Morton

This well written guide explains well the theories throughout history, the elementary particles, historical figures and gives explanations at machines used. It was easy to read, complete beginners guide with images. I would recommend this book to anyone starting to learn about splitting the atom or anyone just interested in physics.

Rating: 7/10
